2006-2007

The was the year Josh became very serious and knew he had a passion for golf. He again entered the Wee Wonders winning the Qualifier, only to have a disappointing round at the Regional Final finishing third.

He came second in the YMG and also entered the Junior Welsh Open. He won this competition and again found himself playing at Celtic Manor Resort. On such a fabulous course he finished a respectable third.

He joined the British Junior Golf Tours and traveled all over the country for competitions. This was a big success for Josh winning many games.

In September 2006 he played at The Belfry in the Summer Final and won. This gave him his place to represent England in the Callaway World Championships in San Diego, July 2007.

He continued playing regularly through the winter, winning most competitions. He was awarded ‘Player of the Year’ for the British Junior Golf Tour and ‘Most Improved Player’ at Church Broughton.
